Iron Studies

The iron studies panel measures the body's iron stores and transport capacity. It typically includes ferritin (iron stores), serum iron, total iron-binding capacity (TIBC), and transferrin saturation. These markers are used together to characterise iron status across the spectrum from deficiency to overload.
