Data and Methodology
- Dataset
- NHANES 2017-March 2020 Pre-Pandemic ( NHANES 2017–2020 2020 , Survey-weighted percentiles from fasting subsample)
- Survey years
- 2017-2020
- Sample size
- 295 participants
- Reference population
- US civilian non-institutionalized females aged 20-29 from NHANES 2017-March 2020. Includes the full population (not restricted to healthy individuals) to reflect the population distribution.
- Exclusion criteria
-
- Missing fasting insulin or fasting glucose measurement required to derive HOMA-IR
- Missing or zero fasting sample weight (WTSAF)
- Age outside 20-29 range
- Notes
- Percentiles computed using the combined pre-pandemic fasting-subsample weight (WTSAFPRP). HOMA-IR derived as fasting insulin (LBXIN) x fasting glucose (LBXGLU) / 405 using fasting-subsample data.
